- EKEmily Kellam2 days ago3.0We are in the waiting room for our car. Our appointment was at 9:30 this morning to get a cracked windshield replaced. We drive a Tesla so it has built in cameras and saw that they did not take it back today until 4:00 to START working on it. They also told us to be back by 5:00 to pick it up whether they called us to tell us that it was ready or not. A guy came into the waiting room where we are and told us he was calibrating it now and it would be about another 20 minutes at about 5:10. I wouldn’t be mad about all of this if they started working on the car closer to the time they had us drop it off this morning. Also, we tried to call a little after 4:00 to see if it was ready and we talked to AI who said they could not connect us to our local safe lit shop. Therefore, we could not talk to anyone at this shop ahead of time. Now that we have spent quite some time in the waiting room we have figured out that the tv has never been set up to be used, they’re out of hand sanitizer or it doesn’t work, and they have no cups for their complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I am now leaving my husband at the dealership because it’s so late and its 5:55pm.

- MMMsHinsonmDec 30, 20251.0The absolute worst job of glass replacement. If you want sloppy work done by lazy folks who don’t really take pride in the work they do this is the place for you! We have had numerous windows replaced by safelite and always been happy with the work until this time. The car was left filthy with black stuff covering the dash and front seats, smears all over the new windshield, glue was completely covering the VIN number area, glue all over roof rack trim and trim around window was not secured back properly and came loose while driving home. We gave them a chance to fix it and make it right. While they finally managed to replace the glass successfully on the second try (same glass just had to scrape off all the excess glue that was blocking VIN) the rest of the car was left with footprints from their techs and upon pickup the car was left with doors left ajar and all doors unlocked. The whole operation seems sloppy with techs lighting up cigarettes outside the customer entrance and trash in the parking lot. Very disappointing to see such a company get so complacent and lazy.

I called them up Safe Life Auto and they said they would send their roadside assistance to come to my house fix or replace the window since it is covered under the insurance I decided that I would just replaced the whole window. But I wanted to go to there on-site place since that's just my preference. I set up an appointment which was pretty quick they got me in when I got there it was a smooth check in I decided to wait in there waiting room and within an hour they had the window completely removed and fixed with a new window. At this point I have no problems with the window it looks totally brand new and I would highly recommend this place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any photos but the place was clean and they had some water and coffee in there waiting room.
