- AAAthanOct 29, 20251.0Gave me an inaccurate quote. Ended up charging me 200 dollars more than the original quote. work took 4 hours to replace 4 tires. I watched them scam a college kid. They patched his tire for who knows how much when he just had a screw stuck in there. They then did an inspection on his vehicle and gave him a bunch of things they convinced him he needed to repair. He even told them he doesn't have any money but they kept pushing. I had a different mechanic look at my car but they quoted me a lot for tires so I came to Mavis. Mavis gave my car an inspection, just like the college kid and told me a bunch of stuff that my trusted mechanic never mentioned to me. Its safe to say this business gets you to come in with a cheap quote, then will do an inspection and find all this stuff and try to scare you and tell you your car needs work immediately. Then they will change your quote. I even confirmed with them my original quote was after tax. I would just find a mechanic you trust and pay them the extra money for the peace of mind.
