I had a great experience working with Reggie Skinner at Jim Hudson GMC Cadillac in Columbia, SC. From start to finish, Reggie was extremely informative, courteous, and patient. He took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and never made us feel rushed or pressured at any point in the process.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Jim Hudson GMC, and I had a really great experience.
I want to specifically commend Reggie Skinner for his exceptional service and patience throughout the entire process. I came in the first time honestly not knowing exactly what I was looking for… I just knew I needed a reliable vehicle. Reggie spent a good amount of time with me walking through different options, answering questions, and letting me test-drive a few vehicles without any pressure. I ended up leaving that day without purchasing, but he continued to answer questions and stay in touch as I narrowed down what I really wanted.
When I came back, everything came together smoothly. I ended up with a low-mileage vehicle that fits my needs really well—and even includes a third row, which I didn’t initially realize and was a great bonus. It’s a solid family vehicle and affordable, which made the experience even better.
I also appreciated the business manager taking the time to clearly explain the warranty options so I fully understood everything before moving forward. That made me feel confident and comfortable with my decision.
Overall, I truly appreciated the patience, communication, and follow-through from the entire team. My husband also looks forward to working with Reggie in the near future. I’m very happy with my vehicle and would absolutely recommend Jim Hudson GMC. This was a eleven-star experience for me.

We have a 2018 Escalade.
Earlier this year we had the compressor replaced and the system evac’d/recharged at the Cadillac Service Center in Columbia, SC.
After that visit, we started dealing with follow-up problems like:
• AC cooling, then suddenly blowing warm
• Temperature sensor warnings/codes
• Thermostat-related issues
• Condenser/fan not kicking on like it should/ sounding LOUD
I’m trying to find out whether anyone else who used the Columbia Cadillac service department experienced similar issues specifically after compressor + evac work.
The service department is very shady and they tell lies. They cause problems and then insult us with “free” oil changes. WE ARE NOT STOPPING UNTIL WE GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THESE SCAMMERS

Samantha thanks for a great experience. I am glad to see that management changed. I vowed never to come back after the last service manager that was there.
The atmosphere is a lot better and this manager listens to customers issues. He hasn’t lied yet. I hope the service center continues to improve. I hope they continue to listen to issues for improvement.
