- RMRebecca Mullins4 days ago1.0I had a really frustrating experience at the Savannah Highway AutoZone. I was sold the wrong brake parts twice for my vehicle. The first time I was given a left-side caliper instead of the right. The second time, the box was labeled correctly but contained a completely wrong caliper bracket inside. When I tried to explain that my vehicle was unsafe to drive and I had no transportation, the store manager told me to “just reuse the old bracket,” even though I paid for a loaded caliper, and then hung up on me. On top of that, a return for an online order was processed incorrectly. I paid $61.49 (I was not originally charged the $45 for the CORE at purchase) and after five days only received a partial refund $45. When I took the incorrect bracket to their Summerville Main St AutoZone location, (Ray) handled a similar return correctly and immediately, which makes it clear this is a store-specific issue, not a system issue. This was a brake safety repair, not a cosmetic part, and the lack of care, incorrect refunds, and dismissive behavior made an already stressful situation much worse. I would strongly recommend double-checking parts and refunds if you use this location.
