    This was my first experience with them but they left me impressed. I called in and explained my problem. They were able to schedule an appointment the same day. I arrived right at my appointment time and they brought my vehicle right in. They communicated during the process and had the repair complete the same day at a fair price. I will definitely be giving them another chance with future repairs.

    Taylor's Auto Service brands itself as the dealership alternative. Based on my experience, you are better off at your manufacturer's dealership — both for price and for how you'll be treated. My vehicle had drivability concerns following a collision that required front-end bodywork. Rather than addressing my specific symptoms and circumstances, the owner, Joe Taylor, told me — in words to this effect — that I belonged in a psychiatric ward and should see a psychiatrist instead of a mechanic. He then banned me from the property and called the police, because I asked for an alignment sheet. I understand that shops have the right to decline work they consider low-reward or a liability, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. I was charged for services I was told were complimentary, and for services I have never been charged for at any other shop. If I had to sum this place up in one sentence, it would be: high-profit, high-turnover, and anything outside a straightforward job is unwelcome. Update: On April 9th at approximately 5:00 a.m., I received a voicemail from someone identifying himself as John Taylor of Taylor's Auto Service, demanding I remove this review by 6:00 p.m. the same day or face a civil lawsuit for defamation. I am leaving this review in place. Everything stated here is an accurate account of my personal experience.

    Scheduled my car for diagnostic and repair on Wednesday, for lost power when driving, front end alignment for the death wobble. Wednesday they didn't look at it though I dropped off my car before opening that day and filling out an envelope. Thursday afternoon they diagnosed the egr valve needed replaced and was under warranty from the last time they replaced it and the wires that connected to the transmission had fallen and were bad. Waited an entire day for the egr to come in and was told at the end of the day on Friday, at the end of the day, they needed more parts to repair the front end and couldn't do a proper alignment. So now the results are The egr is installed and I pray it's installed correctly because now my transmission won't shift past 2nd and my death wobble is even worse.
