  While driving home from work, I got a bolt in my tire. Drove to Mavis in the morning and they patched my tire within 30 minutes! Very friendly and helpful! Will definitely return to this location!

  I had a bad experience with Mavis yesterday. I called the store in Chapin Friday Jan. 2nd. At least I thought I had the store. I should have known something was up when he pronounced it Chap (like Chapstick) in. That made me wonder and ask him was he located in Cha (long a) pin. He said “yeah, the one on Old Lexington Ave”. When he said that, that made me think he was at the store. Anyway, I needed a set of tires for my daugher’s car (she is gone on a church conference). He said he had to order them, but they would be in 11 am yesterday morning (Saturday). The guy said , “well, let’s make your appointment 12 noon just to be safe”. I get there yesterday morning at 11:45 am and the guy at the desk says I don’t show up in the appointment list. He digs further, and finds me in there at 9 am Monday morning (I’ll be at work then). I told the guy to refund me my money that I was going somewhere else. Long story short- I was really talking with someone at Mavis corporate on the phone, and was misled to believe he was at the store. The guy on the phone also told me that Walmart does not have tire balancing anymore, just rotation. I bought a set at Walmart yesterday , and they do have balancing. The guy at the store told me that he is not sure why the guy on the phone said the tires would be in by 11 am Saturday morning . He said the truck bringing the tires doesn’t even get to the store at the earliest is 1 pm. I don’t plan to use them again!

  Traveling for the holidays and had a flat tire. Lane and crew were able to quickly fix my tire and get me back on the road safely (right before they closed for the evening). Thanks a million!

  Highly recommend Louie at Mavis Tire in Chapin. He was friendly and honest. I went in for new brake pads (recommended by the dealer) only to learn that my brake pads were fine with 70% life left. I truly value a business that employs honest people and provides quality service for a fair price.
