The young man carried himself professionally and diagnosed my daughter’s vehicle and replaced a battery that luckily was under warranty. In and out in less than 20 mins . My windshield wipers had just shredded ahead of hurricane weather so I called to ask if you guys install them. I arrived and Chris was waiting for me with my new wiper blades and they were even on sale at an excellent price! He installed them for me in minutes and was so nice! This was by far the fastest and easiest transaction I’d done all day with an impending hurricane. He made my day! I wish all businesses could operate at this level of excellence. Love this store!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
