I went in to pick up a couple pre ordered items for the do-it-yourself easy fixes and was greeted so warmly by this really pretty young lady at the checkout and a very fine gentleman named Johnny. They were both so kind, upbeat, welcoming and helpful. Without being asked Johnny even came outside to assist me as my hood lift supports no longer work. Suffice it to state that I strongly recommend this location for exceptional quality in service.

Just a simple air filter! reluctantly return today I heard nothing but the people up front talking and laughing asking someone’s age and just socializing As I was leaving, he did ask “you didn’t find what you wantedI” I was there for about 10 minutes with the app trying to figure out if they had what I wanted.. I’m embarrassed that Advance auto parts is a part of the Cayce community.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
