This particular Pilot Travel Center was conveniently located just off the Interstate, making it an easy in-and-out stop without any detours or confusion. The fueling area was fully covered, including the short walkway to the main building. A thoughtful feature that would be especially welcome on a rainy or sweltering day. Fortunately, the weather was ideal for driving: clear skies, light breeze, and no need to rush. Since I was only stopping for fuel, I didn't venture inside the store, but everything I needed was right at the pump. The card reader worked without a hitch, and the receipt printer delivered promptly--no need to track someone down or reprint inside. Within minutes, I was back on the road, topped off and grateful for a smooth, efficient stop. It's the kind of travel break that quietly earns your appreciation without demanding attention.

Totally uncalled for. I was born a female. Never have I ever identified as a male and just because my hair is cut short she assumed I was a male and was in the wrong restroom. Then I come out and Kerry (worker) is standing there waiting on me to exit the restroom and makes a comment to me about a family restroom being in the back. I told her I’m a woman and her response was “okay”. That was the most inappropriate interaction I have EVER had. Not only do I not appreciate the comment about being a man but the comment about my “mental” was 100% uncalled for. No one should have to deal with that type of customer service in any establishment.

She will follow your entire family to the bathroom and make comments about how she thinks your family member who IS A FEMALE with short hair is a man and how he is just mentally incompetent. She followed my sister, my 7 year old son, and myself into the women’s restroom making these comments because she assumed my sister was a man because she has short hair. WHAT IF MY SISTER WAS SICK THATS WHY SHE HAS SHORT HAIR? As well as my son in which he will NOT be attending another bathroom by himself without supervision. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. i repeat, this is KERRY. She’s an older looking woman.

It wa so dirty and disgusting. The workers were just on their phone at the registers and if you walked up to them they asked you to use the self checkout. I guess they were too busy doing whatever they needed to help you. I'd skip this one and go to another one.
