  I had a great experience at Mavis Tire & Brakes. Huge shoutout to Eric and his crew for taking care of me. I was traveling for business to Virginia in a rental car and ended up with a nail in the rear passenger tire. Pulled in, they quickly found the issue, patched it up, and had me back on the road in about 20 minutes. Didn’t lose much travel time at all, which was a big deal for me. Fast, professional, and efficient service—exactly what you want when you’re on the road. Highly recommend this crew if you need quick and reliable help.

  I had a great experience at this Mavis location. The manager, Eric, and the mechanic, Anthony, took exceptional care of me and my vehicle. It was a longer than expected duration due to part availability and service appointments. I was kept well aware of the status of the service completed and what else was necessary. Curia to Eric and Anthony for the outstanding care.

  Scheduled an appointment online. Arrived for said appointment the next day. Noticed all the bays were closed…realized I may have a problem. Manager/person working the store came out as he saw me riding on a spare tire. Told him I had an appt scheduled and he replied that the online platform is pointless (as though I should’ve known). And stated all employees for the location have quit. And that he was unable to help because he doesn’t know how to do tire work.

  I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. I scheduled an appointment in advance, received a confirmed date and time, and even paid a deposit to have all four of my tires purchased and replaced. After driving over an hour to get there, I was met by a receptionist who didn’t greet me or show any basic level of professionalism. Instead, he immediately asked me to come around the desk so he could show me that my appointment was supposedly for the following day. I provided both a screenshot of my original booking and the confirmation email clearly showing the correct date and time, yet he dismissed it without any real consideration. I was then told they “only had one technician” and that fitting me in would require bumping another customer, so I would have to come back the next day. This is completely unacceptable given that I had a confirmed appointment and had already paid a deposit. What’s even more concerning is that the situation felt dishonest. Despite the clear proof I provided, he blamed “the computer” and made no effort to investigate or take accountability. It strongly gave the impression that the appointment had been changed or mishandled on their end, and rather than owning it, he chose to deflect responsibility. His attitude throughout the entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no respect for the significant inconvenience caused. This was a complete waste of my time and gas, and the lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this business based on this experience.
