    Dirty vehicles, poor customer service, and extremely disappointing management. Every time I rent from them, I end up having to wash, vacuum, and wipe down the car myself. They simply spray water on the exterior and pass it off as a “cleaning.” On top of that, management has canceled reservations at the last minute. Overall, a very frustrating experience. I would rather drive 20 minutes to HHH than rent from them again under the current management. I would give zero stars!

    In March 2025, we rented a vehicle through Enterprise because our car was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Assistant Branch Manger, Ezra, helped us with our rental car. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and exceeded our expectations. We had no issues with our rental experience: the vehicle was clean and it functioned well. We want to thank Ezra for his exceptional customer service! We will definitely recommend this rental office for future needs.

    I made a reservation on a Tuesday, arrived Wednesday to pick the vehicle up, was told in person (no phone call ahead of time) that no rentals were available. I left and proceeded to contact them 3x the following day. I was told a vehicle would be available for me at 4 pm. I was on my way to the branch, and at 3:53 pm received a phone call from a branch rep telling me that the vehicle would not be available until 5 pm. 7 minutes before my reservation! Since I had to go back to work until 6 pm I could not wait there for the car to be available at 5 pm. I asked if they could hold the car for me until Friday and was told "no, they can't hold cars for customers" (isn't that what a rental reservation is?!?!?!). I asked again, given the circumstances, if they could make an exception, and again I was told no. The agent ended up telling me that she would not rent to me, then hung up. Very rude, EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and clearly very unorganized.

    I typically have excellent experiences with Enterprise, which is why this situation was so disappointing. This was my first poor experience with the company…and in particular..the Enterprise office in Bluffton, SC, on Plantation Park Drive. My vehicle was in a Bluffton repair shop, and on the day I dropped it off, I didn’t need a rental because I was going to be away for several days. When I returned, I tried to call Enterprise to arrange a rental and get a quote. It took me at least six attempts before I was able to reach someone. Apparently, the repair shop has an agreement with Enterprise to assist customers with rentals. Per the Enterprise agent that I spoke with on the phone, I could both pick-up and drop off the rental at repair shop. I explained to the Enterprise representative that I would be coming from home to pick-up the car, not from the repair shop, because I had dropped off my car the prior week. We agreed on a 1:00 PM pickup time on 3/23, and I was quoted a very good rate. When the representative said I could pick up the car at the repair shop at 1:00 PM, I understood that to mean an Enterprise employee would meet me there and I would drive off from that location. I arrived at the repair shop right at 1:00 PM. When I told the repair shop rep, that I was there for the Enterprise rental, she explained that Enterprise reps often do not show up at the scheduled time and that they usually have to call repeatedly to get someone to come over. While I sat there, she attempted to reach Enterprise at least six times over the next 30 minutes, with no success. I could see her becoming frustrated. She explained that should would try to contact the manager directly by text and/or phone. Finally, around 1:30pm she indicated that she had received a response that someone would come over right away. The Enterprise agent arrived around 1:45 PM — 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. He then informed me that he did not have a car for me and that we would need to drive to the Enterprise office. This was extremely surprising, as I could have simply had my wife drive me directly to the Enterprise office instead of the repair shop, rather than wait an extended amount of time at the repair shop. By the time we arrived at the Enterprise location, it was 2:00 PM — a full hour after the agreed-upon pickup time. I should also note that the repair shop rep indicated that there were about a half dozen Enterprise cars sitting in their parking lot. I should note that it appears that this Enterprise office does not have an effective system for managing scheduled appointments, especially those coordinated through repair shops. The repair shop employee even commented that my experience was unfortunately common and often reflects poorly on the repair shop, despite the issue being with Enterprise and also indicated that they would be speaking with the Enterprise regional rep about their concerns as the issues had gotten to a breaking point. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
