I was asked to speak with one of the mechanics about my brakes & was told that they needed to be replaced that day—as well as my rotors, “dirty” brake fluid, etc. I was initially alarmed since I had to travel 600+ miles home 3 days later. After speaking with my husband, though, I chose to decline & schedule w/my Audi dealer at home. After declining, I overheard one of the employees advising an older couple (who had just come in for a “blown” tire) that they needed the same service that I just declined. As an older female with a “luxury car”, I have no doubt that I was targeted—particularly when I was told that service needed to be completed that day due to safety concerns. Needless to say, I made it home safely. I just had my car inspected by Audi today (a little over a week since I was @ Mavis) & was told that my brakes will eventually need to be replaced this year…but that my car passed inspection. Be forewarned about this shop’s unethical practices!
