- CGCaroline Gecy2 days ago1.0I visited this Valvoline location today and was honestly shocked by the behavior of the manager, Dom. He was openly rude and verbally abusive to his employees right in front of multiple customers, including me. It created a really uncomfortable and hostile environment, and it was completely uncalled for. No customer should have to witness that, and no employee should be spoken to that way. I hope upper management, I believe his name is Nick, addresses this, because the rest of the staff was doing their best despite how they were being treated. I will be returning to get my services done by the friendly faces at Mobil 1 next door. I recommend you do the same :)
- NBNathan Bryson5 days ago1.0Went to this location and the staff were kind enough to notice a brake light I had out. One small snag is that when changing the light, they broke the tail light housing. It wouldn't have been a problem, but they purposely did not tell me about it and acted like it didn't happen. I went straight to the gas station afterward and noticed the edge of our tail light missing, so I went directly back and retrieved the broken part of the lens. The person in charge there admitted to withholding the information that the tail light was broken and went to retrieve the part. The manager of the store expected me to allow an "Amazon special" tail light that they say they ordered to save money since OEM parts cost more. They insisted I allow them to replace the tail light with this Amazon special. I let them know that I wanted a genuine OEM Kia part for my 2018 Sorento to ensure quality and avoid any warranty issues. I even got a quote from a local body shop, Boundary Street Collision, for $150 including a used OEM tail light and labor—but the area manager refused to reimburse me and insisted I let their shop handle the installation themselves. They even accused me of trying to scam them for $100, which was completely unprofessional given their employee's confession. Overall, the initial dishonesty and pushy attitude ruined what could have been a simple fix. I ended up escalating to corporate but they seem to be more of an answering service for this poorly managed business, won't be returning. Avoid this place if you value transparency and trust with your vehicle. UPDATE: Filed Complain with department of consumer affairs, Next is small claims court Beaufort County.. Its not about the $ its about what is right..

The gentleman that took care of keying the info into the computer is knowledge but extremly rude and off putting. I will take my business elsewhere, I work too hard to give my money to people who are complaining that I'm patronizing where they work.
