Even though this station had relatively high-priced gas at $3.49 a gallon, the app would have given me 61 cents per gallon back, for an effective price of $2.88 a gallon - awesome deal, right? So off I went, excited to try the new app. First thing I noticed upon pulling up was at least half the pumps were out of order. Strike one. I paid at the pump with a credit card, pumped my gas, but the pump would not print a receipt. Strike two. I had to walk inside for a receipt. Then, I scanned the printed receipt with my phone, using the Upside app, when I noticed that the receipt's time stamp was incorrect, by about 20 minutes. Because of that, I was unable to get any cash back for my purchase. Strike three. When I walked back inside to inform the clerk that their receipt's time stamp was incorrect, and that it made me lose out on $6 for that fill-up, she said there was nothing she could do. She wasn't even apologetic. I have no idea how this place stays in business. It's never been busy any time I've stopped here. They don't maintain their pumps, and the convenience store selection is slim. No matter, this visit was the last time I ever set foot in this place.
