- CPChris PowersJun 21, 20251.0When you tell them fill it with regular you expect the 87 octane. It was supposed to be 3.19 per gallon. My tank was half full and it holds 16 gallons. When i looked at the receipt after i left I saw they charged me 3.49 per gallon for a total of 43.70. So for 8 gallons it cost me 4.62 per gallon. Let’s say my gas gauge is off. Let’s say by 2 gallons which is a lot. So even if they pumped 10 gallons that’s still 4.37 per gallon. So a bill that should be 25.92 ended up at 43.70. Almost 18 dollars over the posted price for 87 octane. The state should inspect their weights and measurements because I think it is saying it pumps more than it does. Plus pumped a higher grade than I asked for. I hope the extra 18 busks was worth losing any future business and me telling family and friends don’t go there.
