  Terrible scam artists.. I was told I needed new brake lines for $600 when trying to get an inspection sticker.. Went to a different mechanic and was told the brake lines were fine.. Took the vehicle to another inspection place and passed no problem and was told “whoever told you that you need new brake lines was trying to scam you”. DO NOT GO TO MONRO!!!

  The location in Warren is a complete joke and a mess. I called a week before and made a 1:30 appointment. I arrive and one staff member just returned from lunch to unlock the door minutes later. I was there for an appointment for a state inspection. I’m told that person is out for lunch and would be back soon, with the time estimate changing. He does not return for over another hour and oddly walks around the waiting area taking photos with an iPad of tires and signs. While I was waiting two other people came in for inspection appointments with one leaving when hearing the 1-2 hour wait, the other guy left after waiting an hour, but I decided to stick around to get this over with. After two hours of waiting, I ask the inspection guy when he would be doing my car and he’s clueless about why I am there or what car is mine. He said he can do it within an hour. The entire 3 hours I am there they worked on two vehicles and finally did my inspection in ten minutes after a three hour wait, with an appointment. Why do they accept so many appointments without capacity or staff to complete the work? The younger guy was chatting with friends who came by to work on a truck outside and rev its engine for an hour. The whole place just seemed unprofessional and it was a disappointment. I used to come here years ago for oil changes on older cars but I won’t ever return even for a simple state inspection after this painful ordeal. Horrible service all around….

  The worse experience I ever had at an auto center, I went there at 12:30pm for an inspection sticker the 2 guys there were rude to the customers an acted like they didn't care if the customers left. The guy doing the inspection didn't have anyone ahead of me but told me it would be 2 hours before he could inspect my car, I asked him if I could make an appointment he said yes and made it for 3pm. While I was there I was talking to another customer who told me he was there since 9am for an oil change and 2 tires installed, I left at 1pm and the customer was still there. I came back at 2:45 pm for my 3pm appointment there was a lady with a 2pm appointment for a sticker also, we didn't get our stickers until after 4pm, from 245pm to 4pm the guy that did the inspection was just talking to some guy that came in after us and they seemed to know each other. I don't know how this place stays in business. I'll never go back or will never recommend this place to anyone.

  Made me wait all day to fix my flat tire and at the end told me they can’t fix it and i need a new tire . ( my tires are 3 months old ) End up driving 20 minutes to Providence and fixed it in 15 minutes for $10

  Needed to replace my muffler and get a state inspection. They had to order the parts and despite a blizzard got the parts delivered and they were able to install it late on a Friday night to get mr going for the weekend. So far happy with the work and mechanic that worked with me was friendly and accommodating.
