- DLDan LaddNov 16, 20201.0Disappointing work and professionalism from a "Mercury Authorized Service Center". Silver Spring went above and beyond in mangling my lower unit. I get that it was seized on, but they applied force to the wrong area and managed to snap off a decent chunk of metal. After I noticed the damage on pickup, they were largely unapologetic or willing to do anything about it. There was no prior communication that they were going to have to apply heat, wedges, and repaint to the lower unit, and no mention of the damage they ended up doing. I am disappointed in their work and resulting professionalism and wouldn't recommend their services. -Dan
