  Equipment damaged, billed for labor that had to be done twice, billed for parts that were defective but then thrown away. Not a great experience.

  Let me start by saying my father was a captain, my brother is a captain for the last 20 years. I have been in and out of shipyards my entire life. I was recommended to New England boat works by Newport ship yard, another safe harbor boat yard. They were able to accommodate me so I decided to go. The first day I arrived I introduced myself in the office and explained the short list of things to be done. I was told by a gentleman in the office that they will be more than happy to help me out and gave me a business card of a project manager. That same day I wrote an email stating what I needed done and my time frame. For one week I didn’t receive a single email or phone call in return. Every time I check in I get the same old “ I’m sorry, I completely understand” than nothing happens. Have been here for 3 weeks now and haven’t received any service. I don’t plan to ever come back I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! May even dispute the bill for dockage seeing I have to go elsewhere and take more time away from my boss using his boat to get the things I need done. Extremely unprofessional and would give 0 starts if it were an option.

  Good yard that can handle any boat need.
