  I needed new tires and called the number listed on this google page. Over the phone with them I ordered set of tires to be put on 1 week later. Brought the car and was in their waiting room thinking they were changing the tires. After waiting 2 hours, i think the car is done when Andrew and Brandon call me up and inform me they never had the tires. It took another almost hour just to get the car off the lift. Needless to say, i will never go back to a Mavis in my life.

  I would give a negative number if available! This location is staffed with the most unprofessional, incompetent and clueless staff!!! Prices quoted were not honored, because they were quoted by the "call center" and not at this location. The concept of an appointment is not worth the time to schedule because walk-in customers get quicker service! My first 2.5 hour visit resulted in them putting 2 tires on the rear, when they were supposed to place on the front! 2 days later tires showed low tire pressure, obviously installed incorrectly! The 2nd visit of 2.5 hours had 4 new tires installed, though the quote was much higher than given! The service bays are filled with total incompetent staff while the front office is staffed by untrained professionals! Avoid the aggravation and have your car serviced any place else!!

  Not sure what happened to the North Kingstown shop, but the service and communication were terrible. This shop used to be my goto for tire replacements.... not anymore. I dropped off a tire with a screw in the sidewall to get replaced in early December (12/4) when they told me it would be a couple of days to order and remount. I stopped by the shop 2 different times after a week and then called on 2 other occasions to learn the status. They kept telling me that either the order was cancelled or that the tire is on the truck to be delivered that day. Even today (12/22), they said it might be out back. I just said I will take my business elsewhere and please refund my deposit.

  I have all my car care at Mel's Tire. After a snow storm and before traveling the next day, I was aggressively trying to clear my windshield when I broke oneblade. It was 4:45 pm when I arrived at Mel's with no appointment and desperation on my face. Bran looked up our records took new wipers blades in the bitter cold and relaced them both. He had a genuine smile on his face the whole time. He's a tremendous asset yo your company.

  Will never ever go here again. We were customers of Melvin's for years. Their new staff is unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. They replaced an air pump on my car and in process blew out the relay. They replaced the relay which didn't work, and then said they were at a dead end and we would need to take the car to GM to have them reprogram and figure it out. The relay in the car was fine until they touched it and tried to replace it. I requested that they take care of the cost given the fact that it was in their care when the relay stopped working. I was told by the service manager, Drew, that it wasn't his fault my car was old and rusted (it's a 2018 that we've maintained exclusively as this shop unless it required a dealer repair) , he told me that we have to pay for things that break - that's how life works. He said he'd argue with me all day if I wanted, he wasn't taking care of anything else on the car etc etc. He was beyond condescending and rude and wouldn't let me speak. Horrified by his lack of understanding of how to treat a customer and will never take my car there again.
