  Avoid this place at all cost for inspections. This place is a scam. Made up lies about your car needing things to get fixed for inspection and try to charge a crazy amount. You can check previous reviews having similar stories. Months and years ago? its a pattern. . If you had a failed inspection from here go challenge it with the DMV. We won. He was mad his scam is catching on and had to pass the inspection. There are better & honest small businesses. Wayyy cheaper for tires and brakes package deals. Reported to the attorney general.

  SCAM!!!! DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL LIE AND SCAM YOU! Went to get my car inspected here and was told I had to change all 4 tires and my rear brake then Bob the owner said I can work on it right now for a great price. Little did they know I had just got this new 2024 car a month ago from a dealer and had a 90 day warranty. So I said wait no, let me call the dealership first and figure out if it’s covered in the warranty because according to him my brake pads were at 1/32nd “had days until my brakes gave out”. Now I was concerned and frustrated with the dealership, so I went to them and they stated that it was false and RI tire & service lied to me and should've passed me. So I tried to get it resolved and returned to this shop and told them I had the dealership check my car and stated its good and should've passed, the dealer was in MA, which is why they couldnt inspect me, and why I went here. Bob from RI tire & auto repair insisted he will not pass me and continued to tell me he offered me a great deal and can work on my car and be done within an hour. I stated no, Im not paying for it, if I do no have to. So I went to the DMV inspection & emissions, and had it challenged and they confirmed this shop did a wrongful inspection and it should've passed. They signed the paperwork and told me to return to them and they notified them that I was returning. I went back so they can update the system, pass my vehicle and provide a refund for the wrongful inspection, and they refused and the front desk woman Lauren became verbally abusive, telling me she can cancel my appt and make me wait a month, yelling at me, throwing the F bombs, calling me the B word and kicking me out the office, I felt very unsafe. (I also have a proof of the verbal abuse) I did not want to escalate this but I have no choice because this is NOT how you do business!

  Engine Water Pump, Engine Water Pump Housing, Water Pump Drive Belt, Water Pump Hose Tee was $350 not including $25 Antifreeze $10 Engine Oil. So when was Antifreeze $25 and Engine Oil $10. (Charged $600 for labor). All for to get the inspection sticker. Where are they buying their products. Checked Auto-zone/ Advanced Auto parts and found items that didn’t even crack a third of their price. Do not go here for inspection went the first time and got quoted $506 for the sticker and parts, which had labor included. Didn’t do it that exact day, took it back a week later to the same guy and they charged me $1,338 for the inspection and to pass the inspection. How did my quote damn there triple for the same problems it had before, scam. Then while on the phone customer service was horrible. Kept jumping from price to price but the price always seemed to rise, of course. After all this they wanted me to come back to install new spark plugs / engine coils / intake gasket and it ran up to almost another $1021 ($1021.14 to be exact). The parts round up to about $400. And labor was another $600. Went to a automotive store and found the products for less than half the price. Do not come here.

  Work was done quickly, even though I had several issues going on. Bob called to let me know what was wrong, how much it would be, and got it done that day. The staff is really nice. I will certainly go here again. I felt safe after the repair and I paid an honest price.
