Not long after I left, I noticed my check engine light came on. I called Valvoline back and the Manager Johan (may be spelled wrong), asked me to come in the next day, on October 30th. There the only manager available was Steve, who found the issue was from my air vent. They removed some acorn caps and told me my air vent was dirty and messed with the sensor. When I left my check engine light was off. But on November 6th my car broke down, I brought it to the Nissan dealership and they discovered my air vent was installed backwards, leading to debris blowing into my air system, ruining sensors and etc. Repairs totaling $873. Not to mention the time I had to miss work for due to lack of transportation. Valvoline has been aware of this since my car broke down on November 6th. Today on November 26th I have yet to receive payment or any updates from them after many calls and documentation from the dealership. DO NOT trust them with your vehicle. People cannot afford losing so much money and necessary transportation! Update: Called back today after 3 weeks and they said they “checked the cameras and they didn’t do it”. Insinuating I lied. I have lost 1,188 total for missed work and repairs, and for some reason I’m being told that I made it all up!
