I have spent over $30,000 at National in the last 2 years and I can not believe how unprofessional and disgusting their service has been in the past 72 hours.
I may have left an item in my vehicle, my wallet. I reached out as soon as I landed at home when I realized my wallet was missing, less than 4 hours after dropping off my car. The last time I saw it, it was in the rental car. I reached out to National immediately at around 12:30 pm on 11/6/2025. I received an email from Montreal P4 National about an hour later saying they would let their lost and found Manager know and they would contact me very soon. Perfect, I was looking forward to hearing back very soon.
It has been 72 hours and I have not heard anything back. I've responded to their email 5 times and called over a dozen times, but still, no word. All I'm asking for is a phone call or response to the email, but instead you have ghosted me. I cant believe I have not been contacted.
My wallet has very important personal information including credit cards, my ID, health insurance card, cash, and more.
Please have someone reach out with an update so I can either cancel those credit cards or figure out the next step.
I rent with you every week, this is my 40th rental this year, and I cant believe how disappointing this has been.
I will post a one star review at every single National Rental Car until I receive a phone call or email letting me know that my rental car was searched and if you have my wallet or not. All I'm asking for is resolution.

Just rented a car for 5 days. Drop off and pick up was painless. Will use again. They could have mentioned I needed to take a shuttle at mtl airport. But otherwise easy enough to find and get on the road.
