  Been going to this place for a few years and the customer service use to be great. Robbie is fantastic, always treated me fair and looked out for me. Never over charged me for minor things, but recently I had to get new struts, and I only wanted them to install 1 strut since the other one wasn't damaged. The gentleman at the front desk went ahead to put in the order for both struts since that's what they recommended. Told him I recently lost my job when the government shut down and I couldn't afford 1200 dollars. He told me to use the pay tomorrow loan but failed to explain the details of the loan. The gentleman told me it's like affirm, well now I'm stuck paying 44 dollars a week and it's being automatically taken out of my account. A few days later I was having more issues with my car, took it to autozone and the diagnosis was a failing alternator, I took my car to monro just to see how much it would cost to replace it, I asked them to look at the belt and tension which I mentioned in the detailed comments section when I made the appointment. The same gentleman at the front desk told me he'll take care of me. They diagnosed my car and told me it was a failing alternator and proceeded to charge me 150 dollars just for the diagnosis and told me it would be 980 dollars for the part and labor which is robbery. I can get an alternator at auto zone brand new for 300 dollars and it only takes an hour to install but they wanted to charge 380 for labor. Again I told him I couldn't afford it and he remembered me because he mentioned that I already did the pay tomorrow loan. The tech didn't even check the belt or the tension. He only explained why an alternator would fail. They didn't drive my car to see the issue. Robbie never charged me for looking at my vehicle or diagnosing it. He was the only person at monro who genuinely seemed to care about his customers. It's unfortunate that you lost a loyal customer who always showed kindness and respect, but unfortunately the other employees could work more on hospitality. They didn't even put my electrical panel back on my car when I left, so I'm out of 150 dollars that I couldn't even afford to spend.

  After getting my oil changed, I headed home. About five minutes later, the manager called to let me know he noticed an oil leak where my car had been parked and asked me to come back in. It turned out there was a broken gasket causing the leak. They fixed the issue right away and refilled the oil at no extra cost. I was very impressed that they went above and beyond to catch the problem and take action before anything serious happened. Highly recommend!

  All staff for courteous and professional. I had made an appointment for inspection and they were on time to get my vehicle serviced, which I appreciated as I had to wait they worked on it. Highly recommend!

  I am very disappointed in the work I've had done with Monro on Loucks Rd. They installed a muffler last Dec. and it's done nothing but rattle since then. I paid all that money for it and it's a mess. I keep going back and they cannot get the rattling to stop in the back right under the car. Yesterday they welded the thing to the frame and it still rattles when I accelerate. In fact, it made it worse. They keep telling me nothing's wrong with the car, but I know there is. Now I have to take it to Toyota of York and spend even more money to get the rattling to stop. They'll probably replace the entire exhaust system. Whatever . . . . At least they'll fix the problem. I'm angry as hell. Who wouldn't be? They didn't even bother to respond to this Google review.
