- CRConnie RogersFeb 19, 20265.0I was driving to Giant and my car shut off. It started again but all my settings were reset. I thought the alternator was bad so I stopped at Advanced Auto Parts to have the alternator checked as they do this for free. Gerry, the store manager, came out to check for me. My battery cable ended up being loose and he went to the back and got some tools and tightened it up for me so I could get back on the road. So grateful for his kindness. I would give him 100 stars if I could.

Well big shout out to mike for recovering my phone and being an honest person. Very much appreciated!! Went in for antifreeze and came back out and almost home until I realized I didn't have my phone. I called the store up right away and he said it was here waiting for me!
- PPPhil PalmerJun 8, 20191.0No refund on sway bar link that were bad after 2 weeks. They took my info when I bought them for the warranty. When I told them about returning them they couldnt find my info on the computer. I have no receipt. Asked if I purchased at there store. Duh ur the only one that sells drive works sway bar links. So I ended up spending more money and buying moog links. Store sucks and disorganized.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
