    I ordered an oil filter on line. I drove 15 miles one way to pick up the filter. When I inquired about it I was told they didn't have an order for me. There are 3 stores in my area so I figured I must have ordered the filter through one of the other stores The counter person said he had no way of checking if that was the case. I left my cell phone in my car so I went to my car and called the order up and sure enough I got the right store. I returned to the store and got a different person. I gave the order number to the young man at the counter and he told me they didn't have the filter in stock. I asked if he could double check because I got a confirmation number and no one called me or emailed me. He told me that they had called me but I had no missed calls and no voicemails. He was quite rude in his inflection,body language and general over all demeanor. When I went home I got on line and that filter showed in stock at that store so I ordered it again to see if someone would call me. A couple hours later I checked on my order and it had been cancelled again without a call or email. Something is wrong with your system- is it man, machine, mother nature, etc. How do you use your feedback by way of mistake proofing your process? How could your system allow you to sell something that you don't have. How are you relieving inventory? Are your employees well trained? Once the problem was found why was it not corrected? The part was known not to be in inventory-why was it not systematically corrected so someone else didn't order it? Given all the aforementioned is ever acceptable for a CSR to be rude and condescending to a customer?

    COLD IS HARD ON BATTERIES, but Bill was very pleasant, tested my battery with car not running and running, explained all steps, showed me the load on the battery and suggested I could stay warm in store while he did everything! The store team was very nice. Battery test and replacement and disposal of old=free! Thanks Advance Auto in Loyal Plaza! Competitive price for battery.

    Called yesterday for a part and was told they have one available. We asked if they would hold it until this morning. They said they don't have very many demands for the part and if they sold it yesterday they would order another one and have it available first thing this morning. Arrived this morning to get it. Wasted over a half an hour while 3 people looked for the part and guess what? IT WASN'T THERE! The drive up and back was 30 min each way. Nobody takes pride in their work anymore. If the person saying that it was in stock actually cared to look like we asked, this waste of our time and gas would not have happened. Can I give a −5 stars???

    It was a early Sunday morning....We are on vacation and the car battery decides to be done... A quick charge and over to Advanced Auto parts we go The extremely friendly and knowledgeable man went out of his way to test everything and figure out the problem... Installed a new battery and had us on our way!!!!! It’s people like him.... pretty sure his name is Jory that make a big difference in this world.. So a big thank you for all you do!!!!😃
