i had a great experience recently at auto zone. i needed turn signal bulbs, they sold me 2 for a very reasonable price. manager tim installed for me in just a few minutes. he was knowledgeable and very courteous. i will definitely return to auto zone if i need another minor job done. thank you

Store manager Tim is incredible to deal with. He goes out of the way to accommodate the customer, you don’t see that nowadays in the industry. He is polite, empathetic and genuine.

Auto Zone 6463 Wilkes Barre Pa has the the worst Manager in the history of retail. I came to buy a filter today and he and two other associates behind the counter felt the need to ignore me. One of them was previously on the phone (okay). One had been working on a customer that went back to his car. And the Manager (Tim) who was passing back and forth between the two. He did not acknowledge me until I asked him if I could just pay for the filter in my hand. Tim then snapped at me and said "Can't you see I'm training somebody so he can wait on other customers!" , as though I was stupid or something. I decided to just leave without creating any problems. I left the filter on the counter. The customer behind heard this and he left as well. As I was leaving Tim said to me in a snotty tone "Have a nice day". When I got outside the other customer said he was glad I left that he wasn't going to return if that guy was still working there. I felt the same. I felt the need to back in to get his name. When I went back in I collected Tim's name and he then said (in a nasty tone) "It's Tim! Do you want my bosses name, too?" I replied yes to that. He replied, "It's on the door". If, Tim isn't removed from his job, I will take my business to another company in the future.
I will try to contact his boss as well as Auto Zone Customer Service and write a review with the Better Business Bureau. Tim is in the wrong business. Talking to customer like there stupid or not important is very bad for business. Anybody reading this please follow me to Advanced Auto. Thanks
