My service technician, Miguel, was awesome!! There was a miscommunication with the phone rep about the details of my service but Miguel had no problem accommodating me and adjusting his route to take care of me. The best part, my windshield was ready in half the time I expected! 10 Stars!!

I’ve had two windshield installed in the same day. One of them was a replacement windshield provided by them. The other was a windshield that I had that I needed to have installed they do not warranty windshields that are not from them. But the person they sent out to install the windshield degrade on the first one and then the second one just slapped it in water was leaking everywhere so I called them. Someone came out Tried repairing it because They knew it was poor workmanship on their detail. Still leaking so I called and spoke with the manager. They were supposed to assist me in finding a cheap piece of glass to replace it with because everyone knows that you’re not getting no windshield out without breaking it. Still haven’t heard nothing and it’s been a couple months now I keep calling and calling and calling trying to get this problem corrected and I can never get through to a manager nor has anyone contacted me about coming out to fix this matter. I’m about to take it to small claims court. So I figured I would leave this review. Very, very, very poor communication. And solutions to the problem that they created. It was a simple install. I had everything there cleaned off frame was repainted around the window. All they had to do was your thing and install it and they couldn’t even do that right. I’m almost thinking That it was done on purpose so I would have to purchase a new windshield. So it’s been months now and I’m still sitting here with my windshield covered So I can’t get rain inside and it cost me $215. Not even offering me the opportunity for a reimbursement but I wasted countless time in getting this windshield and prepping it 100% so all the guy had to do was come and put it in place. I wish I did it myself cause I had all the materials to do it but I figured while they’re here I might as well just have them quick. Do it. It was a big mistake. The second gentleman I had come that tried fixing Seem to be a great windshield mechanic, but it was already too late by then. I wish they would just reach out so that I can get this thing fixed so I can continue To do what I was doing. Very, very upset. All they need to do is make good in their mistake and This would never be here!

I wanted to share my experience, as it has been extremely frustrating from start to finish. If I could rate 0 stars I would for the inconvenience and stress of the entire process.
The first time I was scheduled to have my glass serviced at the address provided, I waited all day after receiving a text stating the technician would arrive within a half hour. After that message, there was absolutely no further communication. That day, I made multiple attempts to call and find out why no one had arrived, but no answers or explanation were provided. I then had to follow up with the manager the following day to get clarification, which should never have fallen on me. I should have been notified as to why the technician did not show up. Instead, it was effectively a no call, no show, which is extremely unprofessional.
In addition to this, there was significant effort on my end to accommodate the original appointment. I went out of my way to have my vehicle driven 30 minutes to my mother’s home so it would be on flat ground for the service, only for the technician not to show up. I then had to rearrange my work schedule to find another time to bring the vehicle in, which added further inconvenience.
The following day, I was told by a manager that the technician FaceTimed him, confirmed the address, knocked, and stated there was no car in the driveway. This is simply incorrect for two reasons: there was a car in the driveway the entire day, and I have a Ring camera, which would have recorded any visit to my door. No one came.
When I was eventually able to bring the vehicle into the shop to have the work completed, I was told at drop-off that I would receive a call when the car was ready. I then received a call at 4:55 PM stating the car was finished, while also being told the store closes at 5:00 PM. Calling with only five minutes’ notice is unreasonable, especially knowing the vehicle had just been dropped off and someone would need time to return.
Additionally, I was told that payment of the deductible would need to be handled in person, yet I received a notification just ten minutes earlier that my card had already been charged. This inconsistency only added to the frustration and left a very poor impression.
Overall, the lack of communication, inaccurate information, and poor coordination made this experience unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this location.
Took my money, still have no windshield! Don’t believe it, check out their distribution location in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania… Really low ratings! Scheduled my car, 3 PM on a Saturday. Drop the car off walked over to Jersey Mike’s and second and Charles. At 3:55, I got a phone call. My new windshield is broken, came in that way. No one bothered to look ahead of time and save me paying the money for my deductible, and all the walking I did just waiting for the two hour process to get the car done. So let me just tell everyone… Heads up, for the first hour, they really don’t do anything. They are just wasting your time and your money. Find somewhere else to go. Maybe there will be an update with a better review, after a week and a half when I can get my car in again. Nanticoke is too far away to deliver the windshield before then.
*update: they took my money that day out of my bank account. My deductible! I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for the money they claim is on hold, to be refunded to my bank account. Refund means they took the money, released means they have the money on hold. Lies, lies, lies, and nothing more than a bunch of employees standing around hissing at me and cutting me down because I gave them money upfront! I now find out on Monday that the company doesn’t care, the manager doesn’t care, none of the employees at the store care at all if I ever get my windshield replaced. I had to be physically removed by two large managers because I want my money back. And the company which was on the phone at the time, thought they were totally correct and taking my $250, disconnecting all sensors on my car until my windshield is replaced, and I should be fine. DO. NOT take your car here if you want to be safe, keep your family safe, and get a windshield replaced within a two week period of time. Don’t believe me, ask the guy with the blurry windshield while he is trying to drive to his cabin…** if they give you an appointment for a Friday or Saturday, they are screwing you!(they are not open Sunday, and it takes them several days to get a windshield from Nanticoke, this is how you know you are being screwed)
My whole windshield needed to be replaced. A crack was end to end. Safelite had a price comparable to other places I looked into, but no one else comes to the house to do it. Miguel, our installer. Called the morning of to confirm, which was appreciated. He then arrived promptly within the window of time that had been given. Miguel was able to replace the whole front windshield, and do a recalibration for our safety features in our driveway in under 3 hours. All in all, even though the price was average….the communication, ease of setting appointment, payment plan options and convenience of just leaving the car our driveway.., made it a better deal than most.
