I was told that if I bought four tires between $100 and $150, I’d get one tire free and could choose any tire in that price range. I first chose a $128 tire, then later called to switch to a $154 tire. When I came in to pay, the vendor charged me for the fourth tire, saying it wasn’t included in the promotion. I also have a previous bill that clearly says any tire from $100–$150 qualifies for the free tire. On top of that, I was overcharged for an oil change—I usually pay $89.21, but this time I was charged $120. When I asked about the overcharges, the vendor was rude. Because of this, I won’t be coming back to this store.
- MLmatt lesiskoDec 20, 20251.0I had the road hazard warranty on my tires with Jack Williams. One of my tires had a leak. JW/Mavis refused to patch the tire, claiming the tires were dry rotted. I had the tire patched elsewhere and probably have over 10,000 miles on the tires they claimed were dry rotted. Toyota dealership just did the yearly inspection with no tire issues. The Mavis take over is not the same as the old JW. Mavis does not provide free balancing with the Road hazard warranty. CJ’s tire does offer free balancing with the road hazard warranty and also has better tire prices.
