- DHDenise HenryJul 25, 20241.0DO NOT buy from. This store. I returned a caliper for the return of my core charge. Did not have my debit card with me which I used debit not credit to pay for my parts. Was told they would only give me a merchandise card to use at their store to refund my core charge. Asked for a.manager was told there isn't any there. Asked for corporate number was told all he could get is customer service since he isn't a manager. Told him to refund cash since I had the receipt. Can't do that insisted that I get a merchandise card. Go to auto zone or O'Reilly they have much better customer service as well as their employees are educated about their company.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
