- FSFrank Warholic SrMar 26, 20261.0Asked my wife to stop in there today and pick up a piece of break line for me on her way home from work, and none of the people there working even knew what break line to give her even though I sent the old break line with her so they could measure it from the old one, and what size to give her. Come train your people better!!! Oh and you shouldn’t talk crap about people after they walk out the door while other customers are still in the store!!!!! Will NEVER use that advance auto ever again!!!!!!!!
- JDJ DMar 13, 20265.0Had a question about installing my rear wiper blade the guy I dealt with (wish I had asked him his name) not only helped me figure it out he came out and did it for me. Super great customer service. This was after I came in with a bad attitude and gave him a hard time but his friendly demeanor turned that around quick and I apologized to him for taking my frustration out on him. He was a pro the entire time.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
