- FTFull TruthNov 1, 20254.0So I went to Jack Williams this morning to get myself a set of tires. For my Nissan rogue. I found the tires online the price on lines at 1 1 9. 9 9. They said they had the tire in stock online. But when I got down there they did not have the tire. So they said they did me two upgrades. Because they didn't have the tires that I ordered and put a deposit on because that is what they require when you set up a appointment. So I went down there figuring that I was going to get my tires under $600. But the bill turned out to be 7 2 3. 8 6. They also gave me an alignment which they said they gave me a deep discount because they didn't have the tires they were supposed to have. I trust Jack Williams Auto but in this particular instance I only give them a four star. My advice is to you. If you go to get a set of tires off them. Make them lock down their price before they install their tires on your car. Because once they installed the tires on your car you're kind of obligated to buy them. So instead of getting a surprise at the end where you're paying $100 or $150 more than you expected. Make them lock down the price so you have options if you found tire someplace else. But there's another reason to like Jack Williams. Because they guarantee that they have the lowest price. I'm not brand of tires. Of course they seem to be the only ones that carry that brand. But all in all with all the choice of tire companies you can go to. I prefer Jack Williams myself. But they do need to work on telling you the price. Before they install the tires. That way you don't get a surprise on the end and look like a deer cotton headlights. I tried several times to pay for the tires. Before they even put them on so I would know what the price was. They would not accept the payment until the job is finished. So when they do that at that point you are mostly obligated to buy the tires.
