When installing I realized it was too tall and would not allow the air conduit to pass above it. The battery was never used to start the car. When I took it back for exchange they refused to accept it because they said it had been installed. Bottom line: Advanced sold me the wrong battery and refused to reimburse the $250 they charged for it. Update: After viewing my complaint, I was contacted by Advance Auto and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
