    Had my car in for service so the Hyundai dealership reserved a rental for me for the day. An employee picked me up at the dealership and brought me to the rental location. The driver was very nice but the car I was picked up in was dirty and did not smell very pleasant. Received a 2024 Jeep as the rental. All seemed to be ok until, a few hours later, I received a notification on my watch and phone that a device had been tracking me. The time matched the exact time that I picked the car up. At the time I didn’t think too much of it as I was running errands and was around people that could’ve possibly had an AirTag on them. Not being tech savvy I told my son about it later on. At that point I received another tracking notification. I went out to the rental, parked in my driveway, and called my son. He walked me through the steps of how to see if there was a device in the car. At first we thought maybe someone left it behind. Upon playing the sound we did hear it. It definitely was not coming from inside the car. My husband put the car up on a lift and heard it louder when he was near the gas tank. We could not see it, leading me to believe it was put there intentionally. At that point I called the non-emergency number for the state troopers. They told me they didn’t have equipment to locate the device and couldn’t do more than my husband had already done. In order to be safe we drove the rental to a parking lot and kept it there overnight. I was very upset with the entire incident and did not sleep well at all knowing that my locations were tracked. The car had Florida plates on it so there was no way of telling where it was put on. Nonetheless it was still a scary experience! We returned the car the first thing in the morning. I was clearly very upset when I was speaking to the manager, Zack. He said that he had never had this happen before and was glad that I alerted him to it and apologized for what I had gone through. Be cautious when renting cars as you don’t know where they’re coming from and the motives of people. It’s a crazy world we live in so stay vigilant! Update…Drew, from the Enterprise location, responded to my review and posted a link telling me to contact them. I did and have not heard back from anyone. That leads me to believe that they haven’t taken this seriously. Ironically, there was an incident recently where a couple in Florida was tracked by an AirTag in their car and held at gunpoint. Obviously this isn’t something to take lightly!

    Quick service. Friendly staff. No price gauging. Update: I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Stroudsburg, Pa location. I left a sentimental item in the car at drop off and did not realize it until the next day. Not only did they find something I wasn't aware I'd lost (a jacket that had fallen n the floor) but nearly two weeks later Agent Keon Scott called me to say they had located the sentimental item. I cannot tell you how grateful I am. I had already resigned myself to the loss of a gift from my 88 year old uncle. I am thrilled they found it. This office is not only efficient but they truly care about their customers.
