I recently bought a used car from here. They were very helpful, and eager to get me into it. Tim is a very pleasant and helpful, courteous, professional salesman. The buying process was smooth and a good experience . I asked if it had any oil leaks (this car is known for them), I was told no. I noticed on test drive it felt like a tire was bad and I mentioned this and they brushed it off. A few days later I found an oil leak. No big deal, I can fix it. The car started shaking and progressively got worse. I have only had it for 3 weeks at this point. I jacked it up and found one rear tire had a bald spot with belts showing and the other side had a cut in the sidewall. I contacted them about it. They seemed like they were trying to avoid responsibility and blame me for this. I offered some very generous and easy ways to fix the issue. Im not hard to work with. I have owned many vehicles and have only had 2 that needed to go back for issues. They wanted to charge me for a new set plus the labor. I would have bought the tires if they would have just waived the labor fee which isn't much. I thought I was being reasonable, but they must only care about the money. So to conclude, not a bad place very helpful during the buying process, but if you buy used and have issues, they will do everything they can so they aren't responsible. I don't think I will be a returning customer.

I assisted my daughter in purchasing a car with Stocker. I went there and drove the car and spoke with the sales person, then my daughter drove up to complete the sale. It didn’t go well. In retrospect there were flags that we didn’t act or into immediate account 1) I asked the salesperson if it was an auction car, he said no (it is). (2) the tire sensor issue, told us because it was a ford they couldn’t reset. (3) when we were dealing with the tire sensors and sun glass holder, the manager told me “we don’t put money in our used cars because the profit margins are too low to do so.” We should have left at that moment, think about that statement then consider the front axle joints of my daughter car needed replaced and the brakes/rotors were a judgment call if it would pass inspection. All these items were identified within days of owning the car. To Stockers credit they fixed the rear brakes but after delivering the repaired car back to my daughter it was making strange sounds while braking. It needs front rotors. Which brings to my next point why would their service department allow the car to leave? They drove it over 40 Miles to my daughter. I am embarrassed that I didn’t detect these defects for my daughter and trusted Stocker, which makes me a fool but for anyone looking to buy a used car at Stocker, please think hard and I would highly suggest you have an independent mechanic look it over, remember they put no money into their used cars, because profit is more important than customer safety and satisfaction. Please be CAREFUL and Mindful of my experience with this dealer. If you are a father, don’t trust this dealer, I did and it made me a fool.

I’m giving 1 star only because 0 stars isn’t an option. All of this happened within the first two weeks of owning the vehicle. We purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer from Stocker with a TPMS light already on. They told us they would cover the repair along with a broken sunglasses holder. A few days after purchase, I took it to a Ford dealer closer to home. That dealer fixed the sensor but also informed me that both front axles were leaking grease, indicating potential failure. They also told me the brakes and rotors were worn to the point where they would have barely passed inspection, despite Stocker claiming the vehicle had undergone a detailed inspection. The estimated repairs totaled over $4,000. I called Stocker repeatedly and kept getting the same runaround: managers “not in,” promises of call-backs, and endless voicemails with no response. I finally reached someone only after asking to speak directly with the owner. They arranged to pick up the car and repair it themselves, which they did. After they returned the vehicle, it began making noises whenever we slowed to a stop. I contacted them again, went through the same runaround, and sent them a video as requested. That was over a week and a half ago, and I still haven’t received a return call. Save yourself the headache and avoid buying a vehicle from here. They sold us a car with significant brake and axle issues from day one, issues that could have put my pregnant wife and our toddler at risk. The lack of transparency and follow-through has been incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

*doing a new review based on new experiences with this dealership. I thought I would have updated it on a positive note but no that is not the case. *AVOID AT ALL COSTS* I recently purchased a used vehicle from this Chevy dealership, and the entire experience has been nothing short of frustrating, stressful, and honestly unsafe. When we picked up the car, the tire sensors were already on. The dealership refused to fix it, claiming they only address “safety concerns.” It wasn’t until we were about to walk away that they offered a “we owe you” slip to get it repaired elsewhere. The shop we took it to ended up fixing it for free because it was such a simple issue, something the dealership should have easily taken care of. Less than a day after driving the car, the brakes began shaking uncontrollably. A mechanic estimated $4,000 in repairs because the rotors and brake pads were so worn they would barely pass inspection, yet the dealership told us it had passed inspection the day before we bought it. Getting in touch with anyone at the dealership took over three days of unanswered calls and messages. Eventually, they offered to pick up the car and fix the issues, which we appreciated. They returned it to our home, and the very first time we drove it, a loud rattling noise happened every time we braked. We reached out again, sent the video they requested, and once again heard absolutely nothing back. We took it to another mechanic who confirmed the front rotors were worn unevenly, meaning yet another issue with a car I’ve driven less than five times and owned for only three weeks. As someone who is 8 months pregnant and driving with a toddler, I cannot stress enough how unacceptable and unsafe this situation is. The fact that this dealership would market and sell a vehicle in this condition is truly pathetic. I would never recommend buying a used car from here. Their communication is poor, their inspection claims are questionable, and their willingness to stand behind what they sell is nearly nonexistent. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Sorry I also will add when “Corey Stocker” responds to the reviews, he gives the dealership number…you know the one where no one seems to be available/have their voicemails set-up/return calls. -An Exhausted Pregnant Women Who Just Wanted To Buy A Reliable Car To Safely Transport Her Family (which I am still terrified to drive)

I’d like to know if anyone is working on my car that was towed there 11/21/25. We were visiting State College for my son’s graduation from the Pennsylvania deputy sheriff’s department when our power steering died. I agree that interaction with the service department leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve left voice mail messages for Amy to contact us at a different phone number, when I finally got hold of her she admitted she was trying to call the unavailable number. We live 2-3 hours away from State College and have only Saturday’s to arrange to pick up vehicle to get back home to our local garage to address other issues. I am stuck without a vehicle and cannot do simple tasks. Wondering how much longer my vehicle will be held hostage. I’ve read other reviews and wish I’d seen them before I left my vehicle on their obviously incapable hands. I can’t help but wonder if when I finally get my vehicle if it will make the trip home. Corey Stocker, I’ve also read your responses to various comments from others who have left their vehicles with your service department and your comments due nothing to help or comfort complaints.
