- FSFelicia SnyderAug 17, 20241.0Was left a note from UPS that my package was being left at this store for pickup since I wasn't available when they attempted delivery. I work nightshift so decided to stop by the store on my way home since I pass through when they open at 07:30am. Got to the store around 07:40am and the doors were locked. Thought they may be running a few minutes behind and stood waiting. Around 07:50 still not open but all the lights were on. Tried calling 3x but no answer. Finally around 8am someone showed up to open. Said it would be just a few minutes. About 20 minutes later they finally unlocked the doors. Then told by the employee they don't have a package for me and it probably won't be there until later today. That part isn't their fault, but I wasted almost 45 minutes of my day standing around waiting for this information. There were 3 employees just standing around the register while me and another customer waited to even be left in. Then no greeting from those at the counter and we had to ask for service. So unprofessional.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
