I explained that I needed my battery checked because I believed it was bad. The associate was extremely professional, tested it right away, and confirmed the battery was indeed bad. They were honest, knowledgeable, and helpful in discussing replacement options, and the battery was changed out with ease. They also took the time to answer every question I had, including checking pricing on another part and testing my starter and alternator just to be safe. The associate was patient, thorough, and clearly knew what they were doing. This is the level of service I expect when I walk into an auto parts store, and it’s the reason I’ll be returning to this location.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
