- NSNick StielperSep 7, 20251.0Dropped off a Flex unit base, they tried to sell me a $100 carb for $196 (part price, they wanted $345 with labor). When I picked up the unit, the tech who helped me load it asked if they had even looked at it yet. Very unprofessional shop, they can't even give you a price quote without having to call you back the next day (even then, he didn't have a clue what the price should be). Save yourself the trouble and skip this place. Quick follow up: got the carburetor from Troy-bilt for $116 shipped. Installed and still doesn't start. The real issue? No spark. They never even diagnosed my Flex and just tried to throw parts at it at my expense.
