  Last week I went online to order a replacement panel of glass for my rear passenger side quarter panel window on my 2013 Honda Fit. I scheduled an appointment for a mobile technician to arrive at my home for that Saturday afternoon. That day came and went, and nobody ever called me or e-mailed me to let me know they wouldn't be arriving. I figured "No big deal. Things happen. Maybe they couldn't order the part in time. Maybe corporate should have had that appointment blocked off on their calendar and didn't do so. It is what it is." I rescheduled to have a technician come the following Thursday afternoon (today) from 1 PM-6 PM. I received a voicemail last night confirming that today's appointment would be fulfilled and that I only needed to call back if I had any questions, so I didn't call back. Here it now is at 6 PM, and nobody has called or e-mailed to say they are running late or that I need to reschedule again. I specifically took time off from work this afternoon from my very busy position where I have no back-up coverage and will need to have a doubly stressful day tomorrow playing "catch-up" for this appointment. Additionally, I canceled volunteer work I was intending to do this evening so I could sit around and wait for the technician to, again, never call or arrive. I am not sure how this location has so many 5-star reviews unless this location's management is utilizing some sort of experimental AI to have negative reviews removed (we'll see how long mine remains visible). I am a VERY unhappy customer right now, as I will need to again take more time off from work and my volunteer routine to schedule a THIRD appointment. I am eagerly awaiting a canned corporate reply (likely also utilizing AI) to appear below this review. I would implore everyone to ignore Safelite and patronize a smaller independent auto glass repair shop in your community.

  I don't know the gentleman's name that replaced the rear window on my ram 1500 but absolutely five stars for him. He had to take the back seat out of my truck in order to replace the window, he found a child's wallet underneath the backseat with over $100 in it, he came out and handed it to me. The wallet belonged to a scout that I had previously driven to a camp out. That Scout was very happy to get her wallet back. That tells me everything I need to know about his character, good job. Work was done well, definitely recommend.

  Nice job Safelite! Somehow with the cold weather and using my defrost heater I didn't see a tiny chip in my windshield. It developed into a short crack overnight and then on my drive into work cracked completely across my windshield! Yikes. I was able to schedule a replacement at their shop to drop off my car the next day. Very fast, professional and friendly service. Check your windshield for chips especially in cold temps!!

  Excellent communication. Safelite double checked my coverage to ensure no cost OEM replacement. Originally, I was under the assumption that I would be receiving a aftermarket windshield. When he showed up with the OEM, I questioned if I was going to have to pay for the overage. He showed me the paperwork and how Allstate was covering it 100%! Tech communicated thoroughly via text and phone calls days before and prior to arrival and actually arrived 10 minutes prior to the 4 hr time slot. Erran was a pro. He was thorough and efficient! He had to drive my manual shift vehicle for camera calibration and his ability to do so was expert.
