- CWChris WintersOct 18, 20251.0Horrible management! I know there are hundreds of garages i can go to, but I personally know 2 mechanics there to do great complete work! Past Saturday i went down to get shocks put on, and a bolt broke. I was told i needed a few parts as the links were all old "understandable". So i ordered a complete suspension kit along with other parts they needed so parts didnt need to be cut, ect. Following week, i went to mavis by tgi Friday in Dickson. I arrived roughly 930am, i waited until about 1220pm when I was irritated, and ready to leave. Thats when the work order was brought up, and my car brought in. Waited longer. At 2pm I asked my two friends, how's it going? They both said, all we got to do was take off the wheels, because the manager always gives us something else to do as soon as we get back to working on it. I guess I wasn't spending enough money to be priority. Nothing like being first in line and watching people behind you get served before you. So much for first come first serve. Still they have great mechanics who know their stuff well. Such a shame management trys to con ppl out of their money. I feel bad for the people who dont know a thing about vehicles. Best advice, find a place where you know a mechanic. Then you won't be paying for parts you dont need so they make more commissions.
