I dont know what was wrong with it only that it was defective. Had i simply returned it and said nothing this wouldnt have been a problem. This meens any mechanics nearby who have had this issue are more likely to just return the product to avoid the headache. This meens defective parts will go back onto shelves over and over again until possibly you the customer buys it and cant return it!! crazy risk to take when it is some expensive 200 dollar part and you just have to take the loss. try some other place first if you can avoid going here.
