  Huge shoutout to Mavis Discount Tire in Quakertown. I had two brand-new rear tires installed on Tuesday, and when I went to leave for work Thursday morning, I noticed my passenger-side rear tire was completely flat and not holding air. I called the shop and spoke with David, who was super professional and got me in right away. They checked everything out and found it was a valve stem issue. They replaced the valve stem, resealed the tire, and took care of everything at absolutely no cost. That’s real customer service. No runaround and got me safely back on the road. Appreciate you guys!!

  This place is a JOKE. I called to get a quote for 4 tires, install and balance, I was quoted $650, I paid $722.00. I was also told that if we dropped the car off they could have it done in 3 hours…6 hours later we picked up our car. We didn’t get a call or anything, we just went because they close at 5 and at this point it was 4:30. When I called originally at 4pm, they said they tried calling me and left a voicemail (I didn’t have a missed call or voicemail) they told me I needed all new lug nuts ($160), and that it was going to take an hour to “hammer” them back on because they are swollen. They also said I needed new brakes and rotors - had those replaced in July of 2025 and they said I needed a new battery, which was replaced 3 months ago. We showed up at 4:30, my car was still on the lift, no tires on it, hood still up, no one working on it. We sat there for 20 minutes and watched them use an air gun to put the lug nuts on, not a damn hammer. We take care of our car, have been getting it serviced at valley auto group for the last 3 years, they are always honest and reasonable and only one guy works on my car. This place is a scam and I won’t be going back there.

  Quakertown mavis are a bunch of squared away techs, fast, efficient, and professional, they go above and beyond, but their was an older gentleman there i believe his name was walter, i wouldn’t recommend going to him if you need work done. Dave or paul are your best bets to actually get work done and not be turned away for unknown reasons. Still great shop great people. 10/10

  Go anywhere but here. Unless you get this one guy that actually seems to care about his job, the rest just either don’t care or try to rip people off. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business. They tried to take advantage of a young female friend I know and told her she needed an engine replacement because of a timing belt issue. Quick quote of $4500+. We took it somewhere RESPECTABLE and it ended up being a throttle sensor issue. She only saved almost $4000 dollars going somewhere else. Good luck finding a corporate line if they end up screwing you over further. You’re better off going anywhere else. I don’t like expressing frustration, especially publicly, but I find it despicable when people or companies try to take advantage of vulnerable people. Makes me sick.

  Held off on writing this review for a while, but now that my insurance claim is finally closed and settled here I am. I would not recommend anyone ever come to Mavis. About 2 years ago they put the wrong size tire on my AWD vehicle, which caused my differential to completely break on my way home. When I called Mavis to explain what happened, and that I was broken down on the side of the road, the first thing out of his mouth was “you ordered the wrong size tire that’s not on us”. Interesting since my receipt had the correct size tire on it, but even so, you are the experts, you should be checking what size tire is needed. When I told him my recept had the correct size on it, the response was “oh that’s no problem come on back and we’ll put the right tire on for you”. Kind of hard to do than when you’re broken down on the side of the road. After my mechanic and insurance both immediately agreed that Mavis caused the damage, I was able to get my car fixed. Through the entire insurance process, Mavis refused to take responsibility and repeatedly tried to point fingers and blame on me. When I took the wrong tire back to get my money back, the guy at the counter wanted me to write down all of my credit card information because the refund “takes a while to get approved”. You can’t be trusted to put the correct tire on a vehicle, why would I trust you with my credit card information written on a sticky note? Terrible customer service who refuse to stand by their work. I get it, mistakes happen, but to immediately start pointing the finger instead of taking ownership for your work is exactly why I will never let anyone I know go to this store to get any kind of work done. I wish I remembered the guys name who ran the front desk. He offers discounts if you leave a good google review, which would explain the high rating for this location.
