After leaving a review about the worst service I have ever received at a location, DAVE takes his time to review my comment instead of fixing my issue in store yesterday. An employee stole my personal item out of my hand without even talking to me while she was on the phone. Her and her manager also missed the illegal and quite shady move the employee made before talking to us. He fraudulently said he saw a man's insurance when the man clearly stated he didn't have it on him. The employee was willing to lie and his managers accepted that. The management team addresses reviews better than they handle customers or even working. DAVE please review footage from 4/6 and take action with training or firing every single individual who worked yesterday including the manager. The lack of insurance fraud has been reported to corporate and hopefully you lose that customer too.

The rental car counter that I had a reservation for was closed by time my flight arrived. THE Annie was amazing!!! She not only talked me off a proverbial ledge, she also made the experience enjoyable and hassle free. NC Annie. You saved my trip. Thank you so much

Awesome experience! Friendly and fast service at the counter. Scott was really kind and helpful. The gentleman at the exit was also great. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a rental car company

⭐☆☆☆☆ — A Masterclass in Corporate Incompetence Congratulations, Sixt. You have truly outdone yourselves. In a world full of mediocre customer service experiences, you have somehow managed to transcend mediocrity entirely and ascend to a breathtaking new dimension of dysfunction. Let me walk you through what an absolute delight it has been. One day, completely out of nowhere, I was placed on your prestigious "Do Not Rent" list — no letter, no email, no carrier pigeon, no smoke signal. Nothing. Just a silent blacklisting, because apparently communication is a skill above Sixt's pay grade. Naturally, I attempted to resolve this like a reasonable adult. Twelve phone calls. TWELVE. Each time, I was cheerfully informed that the department I needed was — wait for it — *closed*. Every. Single. Time. What hours does this mythical department operate? 3am on alternating Tuesdays? Your guess is as good as mine. Finally — FINALLY — after what felt like a small eternity, I got through to an actual human being in that department. Groundbreaking. She graciously informed me that I have a traffic offense on record... which has somehow ballooned to $340. $340! I genuinely laughed out loud. What county is running this scam? Which jurisdiction looked at a traffic cam ticket and said "yes, let's let this marinate for a couple of months and really let the flavor develop"? Two months. A dozen phone calls. Zero resolution. Not a single callback, follow-up, or semblance of accountability. Sixt has managed to weaponize bureaucracy into an art form. If you enjoy mystery blacklistings, impossible-to-reach departments, and surprise triple-digit fees from unknown jurisdictions — boy, do I have the rental car company for you. For everyone else: run. Rent from literally anyone else. A guy with a used Camry on Craigslist would provide a superior customer experience. Sixt: where your time, money, and sanity go to die — with zero explanation and even less apology.

I've rented from Sixt many times at other locations with great experiences but my experience at the Pittsburgh airport was extremely disappointing. Shortly after leaving the airport parking garage I noticed that the steering wheel and shift lever had ketchup all over them (the pickup location was dark so this was only visible once I left). I had to clean this myself, which was disgusting. Then about a minute after that the tire pressure warning light came on. I had to fill this myself at a gas station. Then a few minutes later I needed to use windshield washer fluid and discovered that it had been filled with water and was therefore frozen and wouldn't dispense due to the sub freezing temperatures. THEN the real icing on the cake was when I got an email telling me I had damaged the vehicle. The proof they sent me was a picture of the outline of the gas filler door, telling me it was a 4 inch scratch. So I guess I will need to waste my time dealing with this now. I can only assume they won't actually charge me anything because there's no actual damage, but given the poor experience so far, who knows? Sixt has been good to me in the past but this location was extremely disappointing. Edit: after several attempts to contact Sixt, they eventually removed the damage claim so I'm adding back a star.
