It was a safety issue, especially since we still had to drive all the way back to Maryland. I initially went to the AutoZone just a street over, assuming they could help. Not only did they charge more for the wipers, but when I asked for installation (which is typically part of their service), the woman working there bluntly told me they weren’t doing installs until I brought up the policy after purchasing and she said they do installations but cant because it was pouring outside. I totally understand that weather can make things tricky—but she was the only one in the store and just seemed uninterested and frankly rude about the whole situation. It didn’t feel like customer service at all. Frustrated, I called Advance Auto Parts and the experience was a complete 180. I spoke with someone before heading over, and by the time I arrived, they had my wipers ready to go. As soon as I paid, Ray and his team got them installed right away—in the same pouring rain. No complaints, just fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful service. On top of that, Advance charged me $10 less than AutoZone. Huge shoutout and thank you to Ray and the crew at Advance Auto Parts. You guys came through when it really mattered, and I’ll definitely be coming back to you first from now on.
