I asked one of the guys working if they could run a test and tell me what was going on and he did(didn’t get his name but he was a very sweet young man with black hair). Once my alternator and starter showed as fail he said he wasn’t extremely knowledgeable of cars since he had gotten his first one recently and recommended I speak with the other guy working. I was so glad he was not only honest, but also didn’t shrug me off and genuinely seemed to care and want to help us. I waited for him to finish up with the customer he was helping and then explained why his coworker sent me over(his name was Wes). He explained the results of the test they ran and offered suggestions for what I should do. He also came out to the car and looked at it with me and pointed out where the alternator and starter were. I told him I was going to try and do it myself because I didn’t have the money to pay someone to do it as I just recently paid for it to be in the shop. Wes was very kind and assuring and didn’t make me feel stupid or naive at all. He told me it wasn’t extremely hard and that I would probably be fine. I drove it home because I had no choice but went out the next day for parts and had it fixed that day! Both men working were so kind! It made a bad situation so much easier to deal with. I feel like sometimes women are afraid to ask for help or feel as if they may get treated differently at car shops because they are women, but that was not the case at this store at all! Thank you both for your help and kindness on 8/17/2025 at store 5505! God bless you guys for your hearts and help!
