The cashier asked if I had the old battery with me, but it was in the car I drove there since they’d advertised everywhere that there’s free installation with battery purchase. When I told them I was expecting my battery to be swapped out, the cashier told me that was only for certain vehicles. I told him my car (22 Jeep) and he said that was a car they do not install the battery for. I then took my car to a local mechanic and tried to laugh with them about being told by advanced that about the system saying a professional needs to install said battery in my car. The mechanic told me he used to work at advanced and had never experienced that. It was frustrating to drive back with the old battery and get my refund from somewhere who’d advertised free installation??
