    I want to share my experience to warn and protect other customers. I booked a prepaid reservation through Expedia with Sixt at the Philadelphia Airport. I paid $392.81 in advance and traveled more than an hour using Uber and public transportation to pick up the car. When I arrived, Sixt refused my valid credit card, even though it was already accepted during the reservation and the booking was confirmed. They denied providing the rental, offered no help, and refused to refund me. I was left stranded at the airport with no transportation. Because of their refusal to honor the reservation, I missed 8 days of scheduled work, resulting in a serious financial loss. Expedia contacted Sixt multiple times requesting a refund, and Sixt still refused. I even sent a formal notice, which was completely ignored. This is not just poor customer service — it is a harmful practice that leaves customers without their money and without the service they paid for. I am now pursuing legal action to recover my losses. If you need a reliable rental, I strongly advise choosing another company. My experience with Sixt has been extremely costly, stressful, and disappointing.

    DO NOT rent from Sixt. They sent me a bogus damage report after I returned the vehicle. They wanted me to pay for scratches and dents caused by others. Even worse, the photos they took of damages don’t include date, location, and time. I requested them to send me TIME-STAMPED photos immediately BEFORE picking up and immediately AFTER dropping off. They sent me same garbage photos without date, time, and location. Even the damage reports they sent me are inconsistent. This company is a JOKE. Shame on SIXT for their predatory practices. Save your headache and DO NOT rent from this terrible company.

    Two fantastic experiences here! I have rented through here twice now and I only have positive things to say. Staff is professional, courteous, they work hard to keep the facility/grounds clean and presentable, and they go the extra mile to help remedy any inconveniences. I specifically want to commend a gentlemen named Ayinde who has helped me at the counter both times. After a red-eye flight, smooth service really makes a difference in starting my work travels off well. Ayinde was the best support I have ever had at any rental car place I have been to, and I have been to a lot of them! He is clear in his communication to customers, professional, holds an infectious positive attitude, and simply sets you off on your way with strong fitting. To Ayinde and all the staff here, from the counter, cleaning crew, security, and shuttle staff, thank you for a great experience!

    I rented a car from their JFK Airport branch. We received the car around 10:30 pm at night. We pulled out of the dimly lit lot and as soon as we entered the highway, an alert that the hood was open began to beep. With no safe place to pull over, we had to carefully keep driving, anxiously hoping it wouldn’t fly up until we could find a safe place to pull over. After having the car for approximately 5 hours, we returned the car in Philadelphia. However, Philadelphia said the vehicle had damage and we were charged. We have contacted the company multiple times via phone and email with no response to resolve the issue. They were very curt and discourteous. We did not cause any damages. After discovering a recent legal settlement for similar practices with others, I am convinced the false claims are becoming a regular practice for this company. I want to make others aware of these wrongful business practices, in hopes of preventing another family from this stress.

    I recently rented a car from SIXT at the Philadelphia Airport for a month, and my experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. When I arrived, I was feeling a bit low after my travel, but Brittany at the counter truly brightened my day. She was so kind, welcoming, and professional — she talked to me, made me feel at home, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great start to my stay. I requested a vehicle with a blind-spot monitoring feature, and she upgraded me to a beautiful mid-size SUV that had everything I needed. The entire check-in process was seamless thanks to her! More power to you girl! The shuttle service was frequent and efficient. The driver who picked me up from the airport was incredibly kind, helped me with my luggage, and did not expect anything in return — true hospitality. When I returned the car, Sherman assisted me. He was such a gentleman — courteous, efficient, and friendly. He inspected the vehicle, helped me tidy up, and even shared a pleasant conversation before I left. Another team member kindly helped me carry my bags all the way from the return area to the shuttle, and the shuttle driver went above and beyond by walking with me right up to the airport gate when he saw I was struggling with my bags. From start to finish, the SIXT team at PHL delivered exceptional service — genuine, caring, and professional. Special thanks to Brittany and Sherman for their kindness and for making my first month in Philadelphia start off on such a positive note. I’ll definitely be renting from SIXT again — if this is the level of service everywhere, you’ve earned a lifelong customer! 💛
