On Saturday I attempted to call the local and 800 number - no response, sat in queue for 30+ minutes before hanging up, per each number. Tried emailing the customer service dept. Here is the exchange: Me - Hello, I placed an order for tires back on Monday. I received the initial order confirmation but no further updates have been received. I have no way to track the shipment for my tires and it's been almost a full week. My order number is #953327. I received a response from a "Nick": We have already deliver your tire at Pep Boys 1911 West St Annapolis, MD 21401 As it is deliver to pep boy by local delivery, So you are unable to get tracking information . Please contact the pep boy and instal the tire. I am irritated at this point because why was I not informed the shipment had gone out / why was there no tracking information provided / why had I not heard from Pep Boys / why was this email so badly written. So I responded: Hello, That is interesting. I was never given indication the tire shipped, Pep Boys had not contacted me, and your email response is atrociously bad grammar. I will contact Pep Boys tomorrow and report back. Fast forward to yesterday. I went to said Pep Boys store. Guess what? They had NOT received any such shipment when I mentioned the order AND gave a knowing look when I brought up the Simpletire website. Recommended I order from a different vendor and wished me well with the refund. After this store visit, I sent a follow-up email to SimpleTire's customer service box and I left a voicemail (as somehow, the phone wasn't being answered at 530 PM EST?). No further communication has been received. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from an online vendor. I absolutely want a refund and will take action if I do not get one.
