  The place was fine. Employees were very polite, friendly and helpful. The Jeep Waggoner was very nice. BUT Vehicle wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Smelled like marijuana. I had to get the film of pot smoke residue off the windshield. Actually, it’s still cloudy to look through. Maybe Clean better!

  We use National all the time. We fly at least twice a month all over the United States. This time our class of car wasn’t there, even though we reserved a full size SUV awd Expedition or Tahoe, 2 months prior. The car we got was a small Mazda, that was filthy inside and out. Scratches all down the right side and the wheels were all damaged as if someone took out a curb. There were literally 3 cars left on the executive lot. We waited at the airport over 40 minutes for a shuttle. Meanwhile, we watched 4 Avis shuttles, 3dollar and multiple rent a car shuttles go by during this time. After 40 minutes of waiting , we tried calling them and it just rang and rang. After using National for over three decades, this was our last time. Absolutely horrible experience, from start to finish.

  Car rental was fine. But I left my keychain with a swiss army knife and an Apple airtag on it in the car. The next day I did all the lost and phone paperwork to recover it and I can even see it is in their office using my phone to track the airtag. But they refuse to return it to me or recognize they have it. I went in person and showed them in screen and nothing.

  The pickup at the Philadelphia Airport was the longest I have ever experienced for a car rental. I waited with others at the stop for over 30min as full busses passed from the other stops. The experience was fine once I got to the lot, but sitting out in the cold watching National busses drive by made for a cold way to start my trip.

  I travel to PHL regularly and always choose National. The staff are ALL incredible - super friendly, kind and helpful even when it’s miserably cold outside. They expedite the checkout lanes when they have periods of heavy traffic and have a super fast and seamless checkout process. In my opinion, it’s one of the best (if not THE best) National teams in the country.
