  Jon & his shop did a great job on chroming the original air cleaner lid for my 72 Corvette. It was pitted and old looking beforehand and his shop brought it back to original condition. I highly recommend Frankford Plating.

  restoring my 1974 VW Beetle I needed a new set of hubcaps, but could only acquire OEM (German) primed ones as the chromed one are completely out of stock. Frankford Plating did a wonderful job, chroming them to perfection and in the time promised. John and Jon Barger are perpetuating an old craft, walking into their shop is like entering a time capsule, a wonderful feeling. I will now take the slightly bent fenders to them for restoration, why buy new low quality parts when you can restore the old ones, it does not come cheap, but as we say "You get what you pay for". disclaimer: as Goggle does not allow for more than one review per account, I am now adding that sequel by editing the first review. I ended my last review with ‘you get what you pay for’—and Frankford Plating’s latest job for my VW Beetle restoration project certainly lives up to it. They “straightened” out the bumpers to the original curvature, and re-chromed them to perfection. They are now waiting for the body paint job to be completed (in original apfelgrün color).

  Awesome experience working with Frankford Plating. Got my sissy bar and other brackets for my chopper chromed and couldn’t have been more satisfied with the outcome. Also got it done in a timely fashion. This is your go to chrome shop!

  Went back to my childhood neighborhood and commissioned Frankford PlatingI c for some work. They did not disappoint. I am over the moon happy with what they have done abd would recommend them for any work you need done. Resonable turn around time; good prices and great business.
