It was a Mazda CR5 which had no navigation system and no ability to link my phone's navigation to the screen. So I had to use my phone's screen for the navigation while driving. Not good. Other than that, Alamo was super.

I have travelled all over the US and I only use Alamo! Their "Skip the Line" feature makes the process so much faster and I love being able to choose the car I want in the category I purchased in.

As soon as you leave baggage claim, you immediately hope on a fast bus ride over to the rental lot, walk to the building, show them your "skip the counter" email and you're immediately pointed in the direction to go and pick out your car. It's such a fast and easy process. I am now a Alamo Rental fan.
- SSSondraNov 5, 20252.0Very disappointing how they handled me wanting to extend an extra day with a different drop off. We rented a vehicle from Thursday to Sunday picking up and returning to PA. Tried to modify to drop off in South Bend, Indiana on Monday morning. They wanted to charge an additional $974.00. We could return this vehicle and rent another comparable vehicle from another vendor and pick up in Philadelphia and return to South Bend, IN for $250.00.

The car itself was less wonderful---burned out front lightbulb, condensation on the inside of the dash panel that made it hard to see, felt like it struggled with acceleration--so clearly some things went by the prep folks. But the experience itself was simple, easy, and oh so pleasant. Kudos to those who create such a lovely welcome and farewell to Philadelphia.
